Everything We've Built Is Worth Protecting

Community support is more important than ever.

For decades, Marshall-Starke Development Center has worked alongside individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to create opportunities that simply didn't exist generations ago.

Today, many of the opportunities people enjoy—living independently, working in the community, building friendships, and participating in everyday life—are possible because families, staff, community partners, and supporters believed there was a better way.

But those opportunities cannot be taken for granted.

As government funding continues to change, organizations like MSDC face increasing uncertainty. While our mission remains the same, maintaining the services people rely on every day requires strong community support.

Every donation helps protect opportunities that allow individuals to remain active members of their communities instead of taking a step backward.

The progress made over the past 60 years belongs to all of us. Together, we can continue building a future where every individual has the opportunity to live with dignity, purpose, and independence.

Watch Rick Thompson share why protecting these opportunities matters.

Help protect independence across Northern Indiana.
