Marshall County and Starke County Head Start/Early Head Start in Knox provides high-quality early childhood education and family support services. Our programs help children develop school readiness skills while supporting families through every stage of early learning and development.
Early Head Start (Birth - Age 3)
Our Early Head Start program provides weekly home-based services for pregnant women, infants, and toddlers. Families receive personalized support focused on child development, nutrition, health, and building strong parent–child relationships. Educators work directly with families in their homes to help children grow, learn, and thrive.
Head Start (Ages 3 - 5)
Head Start offers high-quality preschool experiences that prepare children for kindergarten and lifelong learning. Classrooms are designed to support each child’s academic, social–emotional, and developmental needs. Families also receive health screenings, nutrition support, and goal-setting assistance.
