Laney's Lemonade Fundraiser
Laney's Lemonade Fundraiser
How One Simple Dream Became a Community Tradition
Sometimes the most meaningful ideas begin with a simple conversation.
A few years ago, one of our participants, Laney, shared that she had never experienced having a lemonade stand. Something many people take for granted was something she had always wanted to try.
Thanks to the support of Manitou Center staff, community partners, and the generosity of Rochester Glass, that dream became a reality.
What started as one participant's wish has grown into an annual fundraiser that brings our community together while supporting opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
Today, Laney's Lemonade Fundraiser continues to celebrate the power of inclusion, community support, and making dreams come true.
