Reasonable Accommodations & Modifications

Marshall-Starke Development Center (MSDC) is committed to providing equal access to programs, services, activities, and transportation opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Service Animals

Service animals are welcome at Marshall-Starke Development Center facilities, programs, and services in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Under the ADA, a service animal is generally defined as a dog that has been individually trained to perform specific tasks for a person with a disability.

Communication Assistance

MSDC is committed to effective communication with individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, visually impaired, or who have speech disabilities.

Indiana Relay Service is available by dialing 711.

If you require communication assistance or auxiliary aids and services, please contact MSDC prior to your visit whenever possible.

Title VI Non-Discrimination Notice

Marshall-Starke Development Center operates its programs and services without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, or any other protected status as provided by applicable law.

Any person who believes they have been subjected to discrimination under Title VI may file a complaint with MSDC.

Filing an ADA or Title VI Complaint

MSDC is committed to addressing concerns promptly and fairly.

Individuals who believe they have experienced discrimination, been denied accommodation, or have concerns regarding accessibility may file a complaint with MSDC.
