Banking, Bingo, and a Little Friendly Competition at MSDC!
First Federal Savings Bank brings financial education and plenty of fun to Coffee & Community.
Who knew learning about banking could get so competitive?
Our recent Coffee & Community gathering at Marshall-Starke Development Center (MSDC) was filled with laughter, learning, and some serious Bingo competition!
We had the pleasure of welcoming Jordin Dimmitt, Branch Manager, and Jennifer Hammons, Mortgage Underwriter, from First Federal Savings Bank in Plymouth.
Learning About Money, One Bingo Square at a Time
Jordin and Jennifer joined our participants for a fun, interactive conversation about banking and money.
Together, we explored everyday financial topics, including savings, mortgages, and other banking basics.
But this wasn't your typical banking lesson!
Instead of sitting through a presentation, our participants played Bingo while learning.
And let's just say, things got a little competitive!
Everyone was eager to win, and the excitement made learning about banking even more fun. Bingo winners walked away with First Federal Savings Bank merchandise and prizes.
There was plenty of friendly competition, laughter, and excitement throughout the activity.
Learning That Goes Beyond the Classroom
At MSDC, we believe learning should be meaningful, accessible, and enjoyable.
Understanding money and banking is an important part of everyday life. Whether someone is learning about saving for something special, understanding how a bank works, or becoming more familiar with financial services, these conversations help build knowledge and confidence.
Jordin and Jennifer helped make these topics approachable through a fun activity that encouraged participation.
Sometimes the best learning happens when you don't even realize you're learning!
Community Partners Make Moments Like These Possible
Coffee & Community is about bringing people together.
When local businesses take time out of their day to visit MSDC, they do more than share information. They create opportunities for our participants to explore new interests, build relationships, and feel more connected to the community around them.
And sometimes, those connections happen over a very competitive game of Bingo!
Thank You, Jordin and Jennifer!
A huge thank-you to Jordin Dimmitt, Jennifer Hammons, and First Federal Savings Bank in Plymouth for bringing your knowledge, enthusiasm, prizes, and willingness to make learning fun.

Our participants are curious about the world around them, and we'd love to hear from you!
Coffee & Community doesn't require a formal presentation. It can be a conversation, demonstration, game, or hands-on activity.
You bring your knowledge. We'll bring the curiosity!
