This is the Need

Help protect independence, housing stability, and future opportunity for vulnerable people across Northern Indiana.

As federal and state funding becomes more uncertain, community support is becoming more important than ever.

REAL STORIES. REAL LIVES. RIGHT HERE.

A man supported by MSDC recently had his Medicaid waiver denied. Without that waiver, he faced losing the home he knew, the support system he relied on, and the stability that allowed him to live independently. MSDC appealed.

He is still home today.

But stories like this are becoming more common.

As funding landscapes continue to shift, community support is helping protect independence, opportunity, and housing stability across Northern Indiana.

This is the Need

For many of the people MSDC supports, independence doesn't happen alone.

Two men look at a laptop screen in a brightly lit room with blue and yellow walls. One man is sitting and wearing glasses, while the other is standing and leaning in. Both appear focused and engaged.

It means having a safe place to live. A ride to work. Help managing medications. Support with grocery shopping. Someone to call when life becomes overwhelming.

Today, those supports are becoming more difficult to secure. Housing costs continue to rise. Access to healthcare is shrinking. Funding systems are changing.

Without support, some individuals risk losing more than services. They risk losing stability, connection, and the opportunity to live independently in the community they call home.

Your gift helps ensure that doesn't happen.

Not somewhere else. Right here in Northern Indiana.
